We have written a piece of Java code using the SUN API.<BR>How on "earth" can we get this to become an activeX Dll???<BR><BR>As it uses the sun classes - even if we put it into Visual J++ - surely this wouldn&#039t work...<BR><BR>Any ideas - this has been a problem for months - and "no one" knows the answer...!

This can be done relatively easily using Visual J++. Basically it involves designating your project as a COM DLL in Visual J++. A one line directive is added at the beginning of your principle .java file designating it as a COM object. When the code is compiled a DLL is generated along with your class files. Shelley Powers&#039 Developing ASP Components (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/1565924460/o/qid=936670952/sr=8-1/002-7625888-8408608) is an excellent resource that explains the details behind all of this.
