    what is the difference between <BR>Server.CreateObject of ASP<BR>AND <BR>Createobject in VBSCRIPT.<BR>

    If I understand correctly, Server.CreateObject flows the context into the created object, whereas CreateObject does not. This allows the object to use ObjectContext to get references to the ASP intrinsic objects, as well as making sure that it takes the correct user context. I&#039m pretty sure that if you just use CreateObject then the object can&#039t impersonate the user (IUSR_machinename or the logged in user if you&#039re authenticating).<BR><BR>There may also be implications for which process/thread the object gets created in, but I&#039m not sure.<BR><BR>Dunc
