    Default Losing Session data

    I&#039m writing asp code to a file (that I create using the filesystemobject) then redirecting the user to that file (don&#039t ask why...) <BR><BR>My problem is that I&#039m losing all my Session data. Anyone know why?

    Hey Marc,<BR>The only thing I can think of is the session is timming out. The default of IIS 4 is 20 min, but you can change it. <BR>Session.Timeout = X<BR><BR>Does it happen on a certian page? If it does do something like Response.write(session("text")) and trace it along the way.<BR><BR>hope this helps. Just throwing out ideas :)

    It happens when, within a page in my web, I create a new file (using the Scripting.FileSystemObject) in a temp directory and redirect the user to the new file.
