Default IIS/PWS

Is it possible to have Internet Information Server AND Personal Web Server both running on NT Server at the same time? Does PWS even work on NT Server?

The reason I&#039m asking is that I&#039m moving my ASP pages to a new server and I&#039m not able to get them to work. My pages worked on IIS on the old server, but now I&#039m getting all sorts of error messages. I&#039m tired of dealing with IIS&#039s constant errors and my pages are only going to be used for a local intranet anyhow, so I don&#039t think I need the heavy-duty strength of IIS. PWS is much easier to work with and gives you fewer errors, so if it&#039s possible to use it on NT Server, I&#039d prefer to do so.

    Default RE: IIS/PWS - NOPE

PWS and IIS run off the same core code - they&#039re functionally pretty much the same. You can&#039t run them side by side on the same OS, and besides, the NT Option pack install (which installs IIS/PWS NT/PWS 9x) will detect NT Server, and won&#039t put PWS on there.

What sort of error messages are you getting? maybe we could help with those

jason
