Default IsEmpty returns false

    I am using a form on a page that posts back to itself. I check to see if its been submitted by usint the if not isempty(request.form("submit") at the top of the page. Then i try and check the input boxes using the same method. But when i leave them empty and submit the form they return false when checking is empty which would imply that they have been initialized. Please explain this to me if you could. Thank you
kirk

    You want to check for the value of the controls being "".

something = "" <> isempty (something)

if (request.form ("Submit") = ""

    Whenever I send a form to itself, I check if it has been submitted (POSTed) using:

If Request.ServerVariables("Content_Length") <> 0 then
&#039Process Form
Else
&#039Show Form
End if

HTH,

Kevin
