Default Detect Media Player with ASP

I could use a bit of help!

I have an ASP page, and I want to put in a bit of server side script that will detect the Windows Media Player. Then the page will have an IF / THEN statement so that if the user has Media Player installed, they will be redirected automatically to a different page, as in:

<% if (Media Player installed) then %>
<%Response.Redirect("home.asp?medi aplayer=yes")%>
<% else %>
<%Response.Redirect("home.asp?medi aplayer=no")%>
<% end if %>

As you can see, all I need is the code to detect whether the player is installed. If you would be so kind as to send this code to me, or direct me to a source where I might locate it, I would greatly appreciate it. I&#039ve looked on Microsoft&#039s site, but so far nothing has turned up!

Thanks much,

Brendan
