    Default RS.RecordCount

    WHy am i getting -1 for my recordcount when there are many records in my rs????

    If you&#039re using Access or SQL Server, it probably means that you&#039ve opened a forward only read only cursor (the default). You have to open a scrollable cursor, such as<BR><BR> SQL, cn, 3, 3, 1<BR>In some cases, you also have to do an rs.movelast first in order to get an accurate count.<BR><BR>Using the OLEDB provider for Oracle, you have to set the cursor location to aduseclient. This is not true for the OLEDB provider for ODBC drivers.
