Hi,

I am trying to make the Downloads folder on our internal network accessible via the internet so that our network engineers can access it whilst on a job.

I have made a new virtual directory (http://www.bcsupport.co.uk/downloadcentre), which points to \bcsrvr02downloads.

This works to a degree, but the page never finishes writing the contents of the diretory.

I think that this is because the IIS server times out waiting for a response from the file server.

Because of this, I want to look at using FSO, but am not sure whether I can use a UNC ( \ ) path to do this!?

Your help is greatly appreciated.

James.andrews@bluechip .uk.com
