Open "DRIVER=Microsoft Access Driver(*.mdb);DBQ=" &Server.MapPath("/PRC/database/PRCI.mdb")

But I got this error messages:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80004005&#039

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

/prc/index.asp, line 18

I don&#039t have any idea what could possibly the problem is.
Any help is highly appreciated.

Thank you very much!

Sam

some server configurations do not allow dsn-less connections (schmucks) - and often, server.mappath-ing the database doesn&#039t work, especially on fileserver/webserver configurations, i&#039ve found.

you really shouldn&#039t have your DB in a web-viewable folder anyway, it&#039s a security risk - especially if you store user data in there, and you can&#039t use mappath on non-web folders, so it&#039s not a bug.

jason
