Default Installing and Uploading DLL's

I have created a DLL and I want to upload and install it at the Remote Server. How does one do it ?

As far as I know, you have to copy it to the server and register it by using the REGSVR32.EXE command at the server command prompt. This means you can&#039t do it remotely (unless you have some remote connection to the server. i.e. PCAnywhere etc.)

I beg to differ. It&#039s pretty easy to remotely register an ActiveX DLL on a remote server, if it running the Schedule service. Simply type:

at \mywebserver 03:00 regsvr32 /s D:PathMyDLL.DLL

at the command line. Simply type "at" for the syntax. Change the computername, time and dllname to suit your needs.

I run Schedule on all my servers for this reason.

_Jose

My ISP (Softcomca.com) allows you to use DLL&#039s however they won&#039t register them. I&#039m struggling to find out how I would go about using a DLL that isn&#039t registred - any ideas?
