    What&#039s the best way to handle the user entering a " (double quote) in a text field? Currently, the asp page just writes out what the user entered which means that everything after the double quote is dropped (since it thinks it is the closing quote.) What&#039s the way to handles this? Make each " be a ""? Should that be done at the client or the server?

    What I usually do when I have to submit in a database text that contains ", is:<BR>strTextwithQuote = Request.Form("Text1")<BR>strTextWithoutQuote = strTextwithQuote(Replace, ", &#039)<BR><BR>It&#039s been a long since I&#039ve typed it so excuse me for any mistakes!!
