Default Newbie Needs Help with Parameters

    I&#039m trying to pass a parameter from a hyperlink to my ASP.

http://mylocalserver/helpmeobione.asp

<html>

Us e the force, Luke...

<a href = "helpmeobione.asp?force="Dark"">Dar k Side</a>

<a href = "helpmeobione.asp?force="Light"">Li ght Side</a>

Which do you choose?

<% Response.Write = force %> Side

<html>

When I click on the hyperlinks, it does not print the value of the force variable. If I add the following code after "Which do you choose?
"...

<% force = "Neither" %>

...it does print "Neither". I have FrontPage 2000 and I cannot find any help on passing parameters to ASP files. Can someone please help me?
