Default Grouping Records from Database

I"ve gotten my connection going to my database, but now I would like to sort and group from it. Ideally, I would like to have gruops of records printed with a city at the top of the group and then all of the records from that city appear underneath. Example:

New York
NY Record 1
NY Record 2

Chicago
Chicago Record 1
Chicago Record 2

etc.

Is this possible?

Many thanks.
