Using the following script below to update a database, the fields that should be updated become blank. All case sensitivity has been checked, as well as the form fields and field names. Occasionally this code seems to work, and then without making any changes, the next time it is used, it changes the fields below to blanks. Only db fields listed below are affected, the others are left alone. The sql writes properly on a response.write. Does anyone know why the fields would be updated to blanks?

<%

Dim Conn
Dim RS

Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
Set RS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

Conn .open "DSN=coged"

SQL = "Select * From User Where ID = " & Session("userid") & ";"

RS.Open SQL,Conn,1,2
RS("FirstName") = Request.Form("FirstName")
RS("LastName") = Request.Form("LastName")
RS("Address1") = Request.Form("Address1")
RS("Address2") = Request.Form("Address2")
RS("Address3") = Request.Form("Address3")
RS("Zip") = Request.Form("Zip")
RS("Country") = Request.Form("Country")
RS("Email") = Request.Form("Email")

RS.Update

RS.c lose
Conn.close

Set RS = Nothing
Set Conn = Nothing

Response.Write "Thank you for updateing your info"
%>
