Default fast access to text; DB or textfiles on server?

I&#039m going to build a big database of articles. It is estimated that this database will contain approx. 7500 articles. These articles can vary in size, but must be expected to be approx. 200 caracters.

I was wondering if this could be a problem for an SQL Server? Instead I could save the text as files on the server, and access them through the fileSystemObject but I&#039m not sure of the perfomance.

Please post any objectives you might have on this matter.

Thanx
Jannik

    Jannik--

I haven&#039t had a problem using the FileSystemObject as of yet. However, I am pulling significantly larger articles than 200 chars so I never really considered SQL Server for that aspect. I do have Access serving up some 200-1500 char memo fields. That&#039s the bottleneck and bane of my existence.
