Default DB Null Values

I have an ASP page with a form can be filled out to enter information into a database. If I leave any of the information blank, I get error messages like the following:

There was an error posting this information
Error #-2147467259: [Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Field &#039Contact_List.Phone&#039 cannot be a zero-length string.

Is it possible to post information to a database with some null values/zero-length strings?

Whether a field will accept a zero-length string is set in the database design in Access - select the field in "Design View" and make sure that "Allow zero length" is checked.

Dunc
