Default does LoadPicture work in VBS?

    I am trying to load a picture so i can pull its height and width data out of it. Here is some code I tried:

dim x
set x = createobject("StdPicture")
x = loadpicture(absoluteFilename)
response.write(x. height)

I tried with and without the createobject, but both times I get the error:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error &#039 800a01a8&#039
Object required: &#039 3030&#039
/checklist/inspect-item.asp, line 74

Line 74 is the response.write (x.height) line.

Any ideas? Once I get this data will it be in pixels? Is there an easy way to convert to pixels?

Thanks,
Matt

    that method is not available in VBScript. you need to do some BinaryReading here, and probably some work on the different image format specs

there are components that can do this for you (yes, they use loadPicture), or you could write your own

Jason
