Default RE: ASP writing to FRAME

    Here&#039s the code from the five pages that I wrote real quick to solve this problem:
frameset page:
<HTML>
<head>
<TITLE >frameset</TITLE>
</HEAD>
<frameset framespacing="0" frameborder="no" border=0 rows="20%,*,20%">
<frame name="top" src="top.html" scrolling="no">
<frame name="middle" src="middle.html">
<frame name="bottom" src="bottom.html" scrolling="no">
<noframes>
<body>
</body>
</noframes>
</frameset>
</HTML>

top frame page:
<HTML>
<BODY>
<form name="Top" action="middle.asp" method="post" target="middle">
<select name="selection">
<option value="one" selected>one
<option value="two">two
<option value="three">three
<option value="four">four
<option value="five">five
</select>

<input type=submit value="Submit">
</form>
</BODY>
</HTML>

middle frame page (HTML):
<HTML>
<BODY>
this is a place holder
</BODY>
</HTML>

middle frame page (ASP):
<%@ Language=javascript %>
<%
var selected=Request.Form("selection");
%&#062 ;
<HTML>
<BODY>
<form name="middle">
hello there.
<%=selected%>
</form>
</body>
</HTML>
(note: I wrote this in Javascript, but the only difference is going to be to change the "var selected" statement to a "dim" statement.)

bottom frame page:
<HTML>
<BODY>
<form name="bottom">
Yo momma
</form>
</BODY>
</HTML>

There you go, happy programming!
