Default A real new beginer !

    Well, I work with Frontpage. I have a database in the dir "c:websharewwwrootrucefpdb\" named "mp3db.mdb". I&#039ve added this DB in ODBC as a system DNS. I made an global.asa file that look like that :

<script language="vbscript" runat="server">
Sub Session_OnStart
Dim objConn
Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
objConn.ConnectionString = "DSN=mp3db"
objConn.Open
End Sub
</script>

Then, here is the "larchive.asp" file :

<%
Dim objRS
Set objRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")

Dim strSQL
strSQL = "SELECT * FROM Song"

objRS.Open strSQL, objConn
%>
<html>

&#06 0;head>
<title>L&#039archive&#06 0;/title>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 4.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
&#060 ;style type="text/css">
<!--
A:link{text-decoration: none; color: #FFFF00;}
A:visited{text-decoration: none; color: #FFFF00;}
A:active{text-decoration: none; color: #FFFF00;}
A:hover{text-decoration: none; color: #00ff00;}
-->
</style>
<meta name="Microsoft Border" content="b, default">
</head>

<body background="images/fond.gif" bgproperties="fixed" bgcolor="#000000" text="#FF0000">

<div align="center">
<center>
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="95%">
<tr>
<td width="100%">
<p align="center"><font face="Arial" size="7" color="#008080"><strong><em&#0 62;L&#039ARCHIVE</em></strong></font></p>
<div align="center">
<center>
<table border="1" width="50%">
<tr>
<td width="20%">Titre</td>
<td width="20%">Artiste</td>
<td width="20%">Album</td>
<td width="20%">Genre</td>
<td width="20%">D├ębit</td>
</tr>
<% Do Until objRS.EOF = True %>
<tr>
<td width="20%"><% =objRS("Songtitle") %></td>
<td width="20%"><% =objRS("Songartist") %></td>
<td width="20%"><% =objRS("Songalbum") %></td>
<td width="20%"><% =objRS("Songgenre") %></td>
<td width="20%"><% =objRS("Songbitrate") %></td>
</tr>
<% objRS.MoveNext %>
<% Loop %>
</table>
</center>
</div>
</td>
</tr>
</table>
</center>
</div>
</body>

</html>

I&#039ve got a personnal web server running.

In Frontpage, I&#039ve settle my website dir to be able to execute scripts or programs, I also did it for the fpdb dir (where my database is).

Then, in my browser, I type :

"http://bruce/larchive.asp"

Usualy, if I do the same for an html file, this file is loaded.
