Our IIS stops several times a day. And the error we found in the
event-log says, that there were "unexpected errors" in different
asp-files. Usually there are several (more than one) "unexpected errors"
after the service stops.

Because the files are different each time, I assume there is generall
problem, perhaps no free memory space after some time? (-> Is there any
procedure to free memory at the end of asp-files?)

Or is this an typical ODBC-error? We are running an SQL7-Server and
connect to the SQL-Server als follows:
set oConn = server.createobject("adodb.connection")
oConn.open "DSN=dbname; UID=xyz; PWD=xyz"

strSQL = "SELECT x from y"
Set oRS = oConn.Execute(strSQL)

do while not oRS.eof
response.write oRS("x")
oRS.MoveNext : Loop
oRS.Close
set oRS = Nothing

oConn.Close : Set oConn = Nothing

Perhaps there is another (less performant) way to connect to
databases...

Thanks for any help.
