    I&#039m looking for a method to start the execution of a local package via asp. Or via a stored procedure called from asp.<BR>Or any other method that can be called from asp.<BR><BR>Thanks in advace for any help.<BR>

    Yes, look for Package Object in the SQL Server 7.0 books online. Here&#039s the code I got one to execute with, but I didn&#039t get errors on failure (despite setting the property .FailOnError to true). There&#039s also a DTS.ErrorLookup object, but I don&#039t know it&#039s API at all and can&#039t find any info on it...<BR><BR>&#060;%<BR> Dim objPkg<BR><BR> Set objPkg = Server.CreateObject("DTS.Package")<BR><BR> objPkg.FailOnError = True<BR> objPkg.LoadFromSQLServer "YourServerName", "userName", "Password", , , , , "myPkg"<BR><BR> result = objPkg.Execute()<BR> Response.Write(result) &#039 this does nothing, btw<BR><BR> objPkg.Uninitialize<BR><BR> Set objPkg = Nothing<BR><BR>%&#062;
