Do I need to use a DSN to connect to an Access database, or is there another way I can do it? By giving the full path of the database maybe?

Chris

--
Hello. You can sure use a database without DSN if you want to.
Here &#039s a couple of examples one with DSN and one DSN-less:

DSN
----------
Set Con = Server.CreateObject( "ADODB.Connection" )
Con.Open "FILEDSN=myfileDSN;UID=username;PWD=password;DATAB ASE=Pubs"

DSN-LESS
----------
Set Con = Server.CreateObject( "ADODB.Connection" )
objConn.ConnectionString="DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};" & _
"DBQ=C:My Documents est.mdb"
objConn.Open

e-mail me at
if you wish so..
