Default Redirection of HTML page with no extension

Hi,<BR> i have a ASP file for each user redirecting it to another HTML page ( which is taken from the database depending on time and other factors ) on the server with no extension. The statement in the file uses response.redirect command. my problem is since the file does not have an extension and when i try to open it in the browser, it prompts me to save the file in Netscape and in IE, it just outputs all the commands as if the file is a text file. any way to configure/run this file as a ASP file ?

As far as I know you must have a file exstention in order to tell the browser what type of file it is so it knows what to do with it. Why can&#039t you use file exstentions?<BR><BR>Pete
