Default Disable Browser Back Button

    Can anyone tell me how to disable the browser back button? I need to prevent users from submitting transactions more than once.

    You can&#039t disable the user&#039s back button. If you want to prevent user&#039s from submitting a form more than once, set a cookie; if you just want to prevent them from continually clicking, use client-side script.

Scripting:
var submitbutton = 0;
function Proceed (Form)
{
if (submitbutton == 0) //Submit only once
{
submitbutton++;
Form.submit();
}
else
{
alert ("This form has already been submitted.");
}
}

On your next page, set a cookie:

If Request.Cookies("Prevent")("Submits") <> "Yes" Then
Response.Cookies("Prevent")("Submits") = "Yes"
&#039Do your code
Else
Response.Write "You have already submitted this form."
End If
