Default URGENT - ASP

I have a page that contains a form where the user fills out the info and enters their credit card number. Once they hit the submit button it takes them to a checkout page. The problem is if they hit the "Back" button and then submit again there will be another item added to their total. If anyone can tell me, how do I prevent this from happening?

you could set a session variable when the form goes through, so that if they go back, the page will not display correctly, or you could carry out this section in a back-button-less popup, automatically closing said pop-up when the transaction goes through (it can send a method call back to its window.opener to display a thank you message)

jason
http://infinitemonkeys.atrax.co.uk/
