Default Using MS Date/Time Picker ActiveX Control

    I&#039m having trouble using the Date/Time Picker on a web page on our company intranet. It works fine on the box I wrote the page on, but not on other clients. I have included the codebase, the client finds the cab file, downloads it, asks "Do you want to install this control?", but the control does not appear. I thought it may be a liscense issue, so after researching MSDN, I learned about the LPK_Tool. I used it, created an lpk file for the Date/Time Picker control, added the object tag for the LPK, but it still does not appear. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

<code snippet>

<OBJECT CLASSID="CLSID:3d25aba1-caec-11cf-b34a-00aa00a28331">
<PARAM NAME="LPKPath" VALUE="DatePicker.lpk">
</OBJECT>
<OBJECT classid=clsid:20DD1B9E-87C4-11D1-8BE3-0000F8754DA1 id=DatePicker width="70" height="22" codebase="mscomct2.cab">
<param name="_ExtentX" value="1852">
<param name="_ExtentY" value="582">
<param name="_Version" value="393216">
<param name="MousePointer" value="0">
<param name="Enabled" value="1">
<param name="OLEDropMode" value="0">
<param name="CalendarBackColor" value="-2147483643">
<param name="CalendarForeColor" value="-2147483630">
<param name="CalendarTitleBackColor" value="-2147483633">
<param name="CalendarTitleForeColor" value="-2147483630">
<param name="CalendarTrailingForeColor" value="-2147483631">
<param name="CheckBox" value="0">
<param name="CustomFormat" value>
<param name="DateIsNull" value="0">
<param name="Format" value="662831105">
<param name="UpDown" value="0">
<param name="CurrentDate" value="36392">
<param name="MaxDate" value="36891">
<param name="MinDate" value="36045">
</OBJECT>

</code snippet>

Mike, we are having the exact same problem here with the date time picker. We are putting in a call to M$ today to try and resolve this issue. Looks like were going to have to redesign our app in the 11th hour. If it wasn&#039t for your post we would have suspected that possibly the code was incorrect, but it doesn&#039t seem so. Our code is an exact duplicate of yours and we get the same results.

    Go to designX.com and check out the free date picker dll they have in their tool-box section. The example on the site isn&#039t working but the control worked great for me.
