hello,<BR> actually i am using a form in which a user fills his data and as soon as he submits that form the data should be inserted in to the tables in 100 different databases. so i am using 100 connection string in a single asp page. will there be a problem because of this?<BR><BR>kindly let me know,<BR>keerthi<BR>
One thing you should be aware of is that it is inefficient creating multiple connections to the SAME database in one page. I presume you do mean to different databases though and Sachin is right in saying no problem - the only issue is performace if you are making connections to lots of different databases.
YES !<BR><BR>I would imagine it would be very slow and potentially kill your server depending on how many users you have.<BR><BR>Sounds like it would be far better to store this information in one database and link to it from the others.
