    Do Response.Buffer and the flush statements really speed up the performance of ASP pages.. moreover does adding session variables having an impact on the performance ?

    Yes and double yes. Even if you aren&#039t using session variables you can improve performance by disabling sessions in the server configuration - handling sessions has a *significant* performance impact.<BR><BR>Also, you can turn on buffering in the server config, which give a better performance improvement than using Response.Buffer = true in script.<BR><BR>HTH<BR><BR>Dunc
