I have an ASP called "sample_report.asp" that drives its results to MS EXCEL using <%Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"%> in the browser window. In the report, the record number is a hyperlink back to an ASP page that allows the user to make changes.

I am passing a variable through the URL(http://us-sj-web-3.am.sny.com/sample/sample_update_sbd.asp?Change_rec=182). In the Sample_update_sbd.asp I pull the variable using the request.querystring command.

The problem is that when I return to the report and click the hyper link(http://us-sj-web-3.am.sny.com/sample/sample_update_sbd.asp?Change_rec=182), which should show an update page with the newest changes, it actually brings up the old page.(stored in the cache). The user must click the Refresh (IE 5) button to get the newest information.

Any suggestions

Thanks

Christian
