    Default Netscape Mystery with JavaScript Error

    &nbsp;<BR>This is something I have not been able to figure out in Netscape Navigator 4.6.<BR>When I get a javascript error, the status bar displays the following message.<BR>"javascript error: type &#039javascript&#039 in to the location field"<BR><BR>I have no idea what this means....<BR>But I typed javascript in to location field(or address field)<BR><BR>The broweser then takes me to a netcenter page(naturally)<BR>After this I have no idea what to do( nothing out there seems to be related to my javascript error).<BR><BR>Does anyone know, how to spot javascript error with your ASP page in Netscape Navigator 4.5+ or any other version after 4.3<BR>I know the Netscape GOld etc ver 3.0 displays a pop-up box, when the browser encounters a Javascript error.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance folks...any suggestion/help is greatly appreciated.

    You need to type javascript: (with the colon) in your address bar.<BR><BR>This is a "feature" that I&#039m not sure I&#039m all that crazy about.
