    Default Scripting.FileSystemObject

    Hello I&#039m Leonardo from Argentina.<BR><BR>I have a problem whith the Scripting.FileSystemObject.<BR>I have to use this object in a script on the client side because<BR>I have to read a file from the client disc.<BR><BR>Because the Scripting.FileSystemObject is not an activeX component, I don&#039t know how to do this.<BR><BR>Thanks a lot !!!

    Hate to break this to you, but it can&#039t be done. If it can be done, then it shouldn&#039t be able to be done because it is the world&#039s most colossal security violation (as you could then casually email the contents of any sort of file back to yourself for processing). But if you figure out how to do it, let me know. ;-)

    What are you trying to read from the clients disk? If it&#039s just one file and the client can grab it, then you can use an upload form if the browser supports it.
