    Can I use ActiveX components to run from the server on an ASP page?

    Yes,<BR>After you have written your aciveX object save is as a dll. Then register on the web server. See the 4guys article at: <BR>http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/052300-1.shtml.<BR><BR>After you have registered the componet you can call it in asp vbs like:<BR>dim actObj <BR>actObj = Server.CreateObject("ActivexDllName.ObjectName")<B R>then call some methods, properties then destroy the object <BR>like: Set actObj = Nothing<BR><BR>Or in asp javascript like:<BR>var actObj = = Server.CreateObject("ActivexDllName.ObjectName");< BR>call object methods or properties.<BR>Cheers<BR><BR><BR><BR>
