Default Netscape and spaces in addresses...

    Yes, I know this must&#039ve been asked a zillion times, but still:

I&#039m listing the files in a folder and creating a link for each. The problem is that Netscape doesn&#039t understand spaces in these links, and I just can&#039t remember how to "encode" the addresses.

Thanks in advance.

Pete

    Try something like this:

<%
&#039sFile is the file name

sFile = Server.URLEncode(sFile)

%>

No, tried that already.

It converts spaces to &#039+&#039, and neither Netscape NOR IE understands that.

Where can I find the %xx -code for a space so I can do a replace()?
Well, that&#039s bogus.

Anyway, the "%xx" code for spaces is %20.
