Default Response.write

    Response.Write ("<a href=http://Firenze/Project/Images/ rs(""Filen"")>")

Where "Filen" is a field for picture file name. For example, &#039Nil.gif&#039

This link should open the picture file "nil.gif". But it shows

Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

How can I solve this problem?

    Try this:
response.write "<A HREF=http://Firenze/Project/Images/" & rs("filen") & ">"

That may work.

    What a bummer. That error then appears to be that the fields in the query didn&#039t match what you were trying to extract. For example, if my code was:
set RS = Conn.Execute("SELECT Surname from Staff")
response.write "First Name is: " & RS("FirstName")
======
that would give me that same error i think. Also, if the object or connection was closed prior to RS being used, it would also give that same error.

If you are still having trouble, let me know and I&#039ll post my email address for you to send some code to.

Oh yeh, and watch out for those double quotes. ie. rs(""blah"")
