Alex:

Thats a bummer. I am sure it is just a minor
technicality. For starters, if you received a blank page when you executed the asp file, then it probably did run. ASP will throw error messsages if it doesm&#039t like something. Sounds like the problem is the values. Can you send the code?
That will tell a lot

Rob Taylor
taylo@bannerclass.com
www.cartography today.com
Be sure to stop by and vote

    Are you saving it as a .asp file?
Do not save this as a .html file.
You are going to need to call that function.
You have all that code above thte body
of the html code. That means you need
to call that function.

for example
<%
Public Function showBox()
For i=1 to 7
Response.Write "AAA"
Next
MsgBox "OOOOOO"
End Function
%>

BODY onload=<%="showBox()"%>>
or
& #060;A HREF="blah.html" onClick=<%="showBox()"%>>
or
<FORM onSubmit=<%="showBox()"%>>

I f you do not want to do it this way, put the code in the body of the document exactly where you want to use it

<BODY>

<%
For i=1 to 7
Response.Write "AAA"
Next
MsgBox "OOOOOO"

%>
</BODY>
</HTML>

Give it a shot.

Rob Taylor
www.cartographytoday.com
