Default <img ... align=absmiddle> behaves weird

    I try to place text beside a small image (a little bit higher than the text) in the middle of the image. In IE it works fine, but when I use this absmiddle parameter in set the text with the bottomline to the middle of the image.
(the image is a triangle which "points" to the text beside...)
Any ideas?
Thanks
Volker

    Welcome to the challenges of aligning the same way in all browsers. Tables are you most powerful weapons for text alignment in HTML. TRY this
<TABLE width="300">
<TR>
<TD&#0 62;
<IMG SRC="blah.gif">
</TD>
<TD valign="top">
This is my text
</TD>
</TR>
</TABLE>

Keep playing with ti.
Notice the valign="top" in the one
tag. You want that for the lement that you want to set higher.

Rob Taylor
taylo@bannerclass.com
www.cartography today.com
Stop by and vote!!!!!
