Default Problem with in Access databa

    Hey guys,

I have created a form that updates to an Access db and then displays on another asp page. All of the fields update except for the comments which are in a <textare></textarea> on the form. It uses GET and I can see the name/value pairs for the comments but they dont show on the display page. Any clues?

Thanks,
Justin

    Hi Justin,
I&#039m not sure if this is what you&#039re after. Normally with TextArea, you don&#039t need to fill in a Value field. If you enter one in eg. <textarea name="blah" value=""></textarea>, then it won&#039t work. This is if the data isn&#039t reaching your Access DB. If it does reach and you&#039re trying to print it out in a textarea box, try: <textarea name="blah"><%=RS("blah")%></textarea> . Hope that works...
