I&#039m trying to access a SQL database on our NT server from my NT workstation. I&#039ve setup the DSN in my ODBC control panel.

I keep getting the following error (see below). But, my account on the SQLserver/database is completely god-like. So, i don&#039t think it is truly a permission issue. Interestingly enough, if i re-configure the DSN for the database in my ODBC control pannel, the error completely goes away. Yet, if i restart my computer, the error resurfaces... Yet, if i again reconfigure the ODBC reference, it goes away again (until i reboot). ACK!

Any help on this problem?

/rob

________________
ERROR LISTING
________________
[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]SELECT permission denied on object &#039Shelterlist&#039, database &#039Egoz&#039, owner &#039dbo&#039.
/nachal8.asp, line 14
________________________
CODE LISTING
________________________
<%
Option Explicit
Response.Expires = 0
Dim objConn, objRS, strQuery
Dim strConnection
Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
strConn ection = "DSN=Egoz;DATABASE=Egoz;"
strConnection = strConnection & "UID=kiryat;PWD=shemona;"
objConn.Open strConnection
strQuery = "SELECT Sheltername, UnitPrice FROM Shelterlist "
strQuery = strQuery & "ORDER BY Sheltername"
Set objRS = objConn.Execute(strQuery)
%>
