I have a site serving various files for download.. However, the restriction is that I want to prevent users from getting to these files unless they are registered and in the Access Database. I have all of this setup. The problem I am having now, is I don&#039t know how to restrict these files from being directly downloaded.

So, currently, for a person to download a file, they click a link to a Login ASP script.. It checks their info against a Access DB.. And then once verified, it dumps them to a Download HTML page which lets them DL the file they want. But like I said, if you know the name of the file, <LISTED IN STATUS BAR FOR REGISTERED USERS> then you can simply type that into the browser.

How can I get around this?
