    Default HTML in ASP problem

Hello all. Ok, so I&#039m using ASP to cycle through a recordset and print the results out in an html table. Now, when there is an empty cell, the html drops the border of that cell leaving big white patches in the middle of the table. I&#039ve messed around with borders, cellspacing, and cellpadding, but if that&#039s the solution, I haven&#039t been able to find a working solution. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Use an IF statement to check if the recordset field has a value and if it doesn&#039t then print a non-breaking space(&amp;nbsp;).<BR><BR>If Format(objRS("FieldName")) = "" then<BR> response.write("&amp;nbsp;")<BR>Else<BR> response.write(objRS("FieldName"))<BR>End If<BR><BR>This will prevent the borders in your table from not showing up. The Format function will automatically convert a NULL value to an empty string.
