Hello,
I have two SQL statements in my ASP code: the first one inserts a record in one table and the second one updates a record in another table. Sometimes this second table is blocked so I can&#039t update the record, (a timeout error is returned).

To solve this situation I though in implementing a transaction:
Begin trans
insert record
update record
If objdbconnection.Errors.Count > 0 Then
rollback
else
commit
end if

But for timeout errors the "if condition" doesn&#039t work. Do you know how can I solve it?

Thank you in advance
