Default large string not stored in a variable...

    Hey guys,

I am submitting a form with a number of checkboxes with the same name("option"). When I request the value of the variable("option"), I get a string with the values of all the checkboxes(that were checked) seperated by comas. The problem is, when this string gets really big, the variable doesn&#039t return anything. Is there a limit to the number of characters a variable can hold, and if so, is there a work around for it?

Thanks,

-Kev

The limit is around 2 billion characters, if you had enough memory (well, to be fair, you couldn&#039t go over 1 billion characters with need 64-bit NT to go bigger).

I just vaguely kind of suspect some other problem.

Are you doing a METHOD=POST or a METHOD=GET in your form? The latter has some pretty severe length restrictions and might be the source of the problem. Show more code if you *are* using METHOD=POST.
