    Default this.value

    I have a select tag like this:<BR><BR>&#060;select name="xyz" size="1" onChange="fun1(this.value)"&#062;<BR><BR>but when executed in Netscape the parameter is passed as null.<BR>It works fine in IE.<BR><BR>what should be done to make it work in both? <BR><BR> <BR>Tan Q<BR>Ravi<BR>

    THE THIS.VALUE SHOULD ABSOLUTELY WORK ... I DO IT W/IE AND NETSCAPE.<BR><BR>However, you can also try ...<BR><BR>document.&#060;form_name&#062;.&#060;fi eld_name&#062;.value<BR><BR>PERHAPS ITS THE COMBINATION OF ONCHANGE AND THIS.VALUE W/NETSCAPE?????????? DON&#039T KNOW ... THE ABOVE WILL WORK FOR YOU HOWEVER!<BR><BR>HTH<BR>Steve
