    Default SSI from another server

    Is the "Server Side" of SSI (sever side include) to be taken literaly?<BR><BR>Can I include a file from another server/website on to my ASP file?<BR><BR>(I tried so far without success:<BR><BR>&#060;!--#include virtual=""--&#062;<BR>and<BR>&#060;!--#include file=""--&#062; )<BR><BR>What I&#039m trying to do is retreive some database information from someone elses site (with permission) and display it on my webpage.<BR><BR>If there is a way or another method... please let me know.

    I know you cannot use a web URL but perhaps you could make a virtual directory on your webserver that would point to that one. or perhaps make a network drive on your server that points to the web file you&#039re trying to link to. from there create that as a virtual directory & it should work (not sure though)<BR><BR>Scott S
