Okay, so today I moved up from Access to SQL Server -- using similar connections, the SQL Server 7.0 is serving almost 5x as many pages in the same amount of time (if you need to convince a budgeter that Access is not enough...) -- and now I&#039m wondering about shifting to stored procedures, since another upgrade is not in sight.

Exact question is this:
Given that a tweaked ADODB RecordSet Cache size can give me an extra 33% performance (pg 421 of Wrox Profession ADO Programming 2.5; change from [default] 1 to 10), is it worth going back to the old .execute command in order to use stored procedures to execute my Select queries?

Thanks for advice etc.
