    When changes are made to the Application or Session sections of a global.asa file (wether for the whole site or an app folder) do I need to restart IIS 4.0?<BR><BR>Thanks.<BR>

    Hi there, as far as the global.asa file, I have made changes to my web sites global.asa file, and NOT restarted IIS.<BR><BR>Hope that helps<BR><BR>Glenn Melton<BR>

    Well... you would need to restart IIS to get any of the code in the Application_OnStart Sub to execute, but as for the Sessions you shouldn&#039t have to stop the server.<BR><BR>Just a thought, I&#039ve never done this, but you might be able to call the Application_OnStart sub from within the global.asa without restarting IIS.<BR><BR>Hope I helped some<BR><BR>Nathan
