Default taking out return carriages from a string

    Hi, here&#039s my problem, I have a scrolling text box, from which a user sends some string; when/if the user hits a carriage return within that string, I&#039m unable to take that chr(13) and replace it with a backspace character, but that&#039s what I need to do.
Does anyone know how to do it?
Thanks.

    string = replace(string, string-to-replace, replace with)
string = delete(string, string-to-delete)

BTW: it&#039s not just chr(13), its chr(13)+chr(10)

so you would want:

CrLf = chr(13) + chr(10)
String = delete(String, CrLf)

Hope to have helped :)

- Vince

    Thank you,
yes I know about the line feed, I just assumed that it always comes in pairs with the carriage return so I didn&#039t bother writing out chr(13)& chr(10), but thanks for your solution, I think I can use that.
