Default RE: using crystal report

    You&#039ll need to install Crystal&#039s Web Service on your Web Server. This is client-enabled through the use of Crystal&#039s Active X Report Viewer which would download if it isn&#039t already on the Client machine. Once this is accomplished, create an *.asp page(reportviewer.asp) that will check for the presence of the ActiveX control on the Client Browser & initialize the necessary parameters. Then, you simply create another small .asp page that generates a response.redirect to reportviewer.asp with the correct parameters. It would look something like:

<%
strPageURL = "ReportViewer.asp?Report="

strCriteria = "PayrollDistribution.rpt?cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT_FMT=U2F WORDW%3A0:0&sproc0=" & rsPayrollFeed(0) & "&sproc1=" & Session("FacilityID") & & "&user0=" & Session("DB_UserID") & "&password0=" & Session("DB_Password") & "&promptOnRefresh=0&rf=1"

strPageURL = strPageURL & Server.URLEncode(strCriteria)

Response.Redi rect strCriteria

%>

Hope this helps,
-12vman
