Default Redirecting a Recordset causes error

I&#039ve been redirecting string value pairs using the Server.URLEncode function; this works well.<BR><BR>I&#039ve now hit upon a situation where I&#039ve got to forward a recordset, again using the Redirect method. When I try to retrieve it using the request("rs") it results in a type mismatch... Anyone know how to get around this?<BR><BR>Thanks!

Default RE: Redirecting a Recordset causes error

You can&#039t pass a recordset through the querystring. It is a huge binary datatype with all sorts of information. One thing you can do is put the recordset in a Session variable (although this is bad). What you should do, is whatever query you used to generate your recordset in the first page, simply rerun that query in the page you&#039re redirecting to. So each page will have its own, identicle, recordset.
