Default Redirecting to an anchor?

If I type something like this directly into my Location bar, everything works fine:
http://www.blah.com/someASPpage.asp?var1=1&var2=2#goHere

But if I try to do the same thing with Response.Redirect, I get an error in my ASP code because it thinks that I&#039m passing "2#goHere" as the value of the queryString parameter var2. Can anyone help me figure out how to redirect to an anchor?

Thanks...

    Have you tried this: http://www.blah.com/someASPpage.asp#goHere?var1=1&var2=2

Yes, I get a 404 Not Found error when I do that.
